Ame is a spirited and enthusiastic entrepreneurial student and has spent the last decade working, researching, and pursuing bachelorette degrees at the University of Hawaii at Manoa in mechanical engineering, women studies, aquaculture, and entrepreneurship. Her passions lie in creating startups that capitalize on systems she developed during her research of the intersection of aquaculture, horticulture, and automation. She has won startup funding at seven different business competitions over the past four years, which has had additional benefits of international networking and manufacturing collaboration in Japan.
