Our decade-long research into aquaponics and vertical farming technology combined with a passion to end plastic’s linear life cycle has culminated into a plug and play base unit: Le’Gro Cube
Le’Gro Cubes are rooting media that are 100% composed of recycled food safe PETG plastic (beverage bottles, bags, wrappers, etc.); the cubes are itself a recyclable product completing a circular life cycle. The media boasts a lattice structure that is ideal for giving roots structural adhesion through weaving and voluminous spaces for gaseous oxygen and carbon dioxide delivery. This modular, highly integrable unit achieves our design goals of providing efficiencies in water usage, energy usage, and allows us to remediate pieces of single-use plastic pollution.
